Wit's Goin' On Belgian White Ale All Grain Kit Keg King Recipe
Wit's Goin' On - Belgian White Ale - All Grain Kit - Beginner Level
Based on an ancient 400 year old recipe that was nearly forgotten until it was revived again by Pierre Celis in 1966. Belgian White Ale. When the weather warms but you’re tired of drinking crispy boi lagers and pallet shredding hoppy beers, you need to shift gears.
Wit’s Goin’ On combines a smooth and malty body with a super pale colour and the right amount of revitalising, thirst-quenching power . Witness the fitness of this incredible, refreshing beer style that hits the spot after a hot day but also packs enough body and malt on a cold one.
Slightly tart, citrusy with flavours of orange and lemon zest that come with the late addition of 30g of crushed coriander seeds (not included) working with the yeast and low key Saaz hops.
This White Ale is not bitter and incredibly approachable/sessionable. Pouring straw yellow/white with a creamy white head, Wit’s Goin’ On delivers a medium mouth feel that is smooth and creamy from the use of wheat. Noticeable spicy, peppery and orangey fruitiness surround the aroma.
For quaffing and not for storing. Drink this one fresh. Add a slice of fresh orange if you want when you serve Wit’s Goin On to bring out even more of the citrus, orange notes.
Easy to brew, single step immersion mash and easy to ferment with no extra dryhop additions or cellar work.
